Wednesday, October 25, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Join the “Put a Price On It, D.C.” coalition, made up of hundreds of advocates and over 40 organizations, on October 25th to rally with us in support of a carbon fee-and-rebate policy for DC!
Over the past year, the momentum for the campaign to put a price on carbon pollution in the District has grown, with DC city Council Chairman Phil Mendelson and Councilmember Mary Cheh asserting that it’s now a matter of “how,” not “if” the Council will debate and discuss the bill.
We need your help to insist that the Council introduce the bill by the end of the year. Bring your friends and colleagues down to the steps of the Wilson Building during your lunch break to make sure the Council hears our voices in the fight against carbon pollution!
